Parents are a beacon of a child’s life. They lay the foundation for children, to nurture and equip them with the skills that are necessary throughout life. Parents protect their children and make countless selfless sacrifices to ensure their growth.
The United Nations proclaimed June 1 to be the Global Day of Parents “to appreciate all parents in all parts of the world for their selfless commitment to children and their lifelong dedication towards developing this relationship”.
This year the theme is “Appreciate all parents throughout the world” for Global Parents Day 2022. This theme is the endorsement of parents’ struggles and sacrifices towards their children across the world.
Also, urging to acknowledge Parents’ worth & affection and to value the sacrifices they make for their children. Parents, undoubtedly provide an environment for the development of a child’s personality. Due to some social, economic, or geographical factors, parents may find it difficult to be with their families, but their love and care never do so.
After a tough past two years the Covid-19 pandemic hugely raised the responsibilities of parents. They not only financially supported their families but also looked after their non-school-going children at home.
