She began her journey at 19, providing direct support and helping deinstitutionalise individuals in segregation. Her experience fueled a lifelong commitment to human rights, which she championed across various roles, including forensic services, child protection, and education. In 2015, Belinda co-founded Including You, a now-thriving organisation with 18 Specialist Support Coordinators, 4 Regional Managers, 50 Support Workers, and 400 Service Users. Belinda’s influence extends beyond her company, shaping the sector and advancing the cause of individual rights.
